This technology \u201cFast 3D foot scanner\u201d focuses on developing an efficient 3D scanning device for foot shape measurement within 3~4 seconds of scan and less than half minute of data processing. In addition, we developed feature detection algorithms for automatically generating relevant 3D sizes, feature matching and comparison, and assistance of shoes manufacturing. We use four slit lasers, four industrial cameras, two linear motors to continuing capture shapes of feet. The most important improvement is the system calibration. We utilized a specific box to carried out all calibration parameters within one procedure. The concept we emphasized is \u201cmake 3D scanner as simple as photography\u201d. What users need to do is only clicking one button, either by their PCs or cell phones, we device will execute all necessary procedures to accomplish the task. What we emphasize is \u201c3D data generator\u201d. We believe massive data production will be another story for new-generation applications.<\/p>\n
