We developed a Multiview 3D capturing system based on camera array for generating stereoscopic 3D printing. Based on the framework, we are capable to create well aligned 3D content and calibrated color images. The depth perception of content can be manually adjusted for preview, and for generating quality 3D stereoscopic printing.
AS2 3D: This technology discloses a camera array system to synchronized photography, fast 3D preview, disparity adjustment and large-scale stereoscopic 3D printing. We dedicated on high-price commercial photography such wedding photo, cinema poster, art creation, and so on. Moreover, 3D photography ecosystem is revealed based on framework. The system includes Multiview 3D stereoscopy photography, autostereoscopic display, slated lenticular panel and print, and camera calibration and alignment. Conventional framework utilized a camera and guiding track for capturing static scenes. Different from conventional framework, the system is capable to execute “bullet time” effect. This is critical and important for many situations, such as flowing hair in wedding photos, and animals in family photos.
