Course objectives
We will focus on the tech. review for variety of applications in imaging, stereoscopy and 3D. To learn relevant applications regarding cameras. To know the fundamental of image acquisition. To read technical paper, thesis, report and marketing info. Evaluating new technology trend. Discovering free tools / open sources and research resources regarding cameras.
Outline of lectures
Learning the applications form CCD/CMOS sensors including the principle of pinhole camera, single camera, stereo camera, multiple cameras and 3D geometry acquisition. The lecture focuses on materials from journal and conference papers.
